A question for those members that have an icebreakers membership.

A question for those members that have an icebreakers membership. What happens when it ends? The reason I ask is because with the help of a friend I discovered a way to extend the date the gold membership they give you expires. I'm sure it may not be a secret but I don't believe it is common knowledge. I want to share this information because I got a beef with the site. I always have a beef with the site. HAHAHA!!!! I always get it for a longer period of time, sometimes it is automatically renewed within the period. And when it has expired, I have renewed it again. How long? And when it has expired, I have renewed it again. How do you do that?

I know if you update your icebreakers they continue it. But for the most part it's about members who do a lot on the site and they also keep extending it that way as well. Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

as long as we don't quit icebreakers, we are good to go... and yes, it has an expiration date, but if we continue to do icebreakers, the expiration date will renew itself for another year... but additionally, the site gives us extended membership date for being more active on the site anyway... currently my expiration date is march 2019...that's more than two years from now...(was originally one year or less.) sooooo...now tell me about your discovery...how do YOU extend your gold balls??? I am curious...ya?

I think it is also responsible for the huge amount of fake profiles with Gold and VIP memberships. I don't see how they are making more money today than they were in say 2010 when practically everyone with a premium membership paid for it. I look at my billing history and can't be mad because they are saving me plenty of money by not buying memberships for some of my female friends. I think I seen that quote somewhere. I think that Tmptrzz was very close to what I know. If you change your cupid settings to exclude men and couples the site will take away the Gold membership. If you change them back to include men and or couples and cut and paste the same icebreakers message and save it, the site gives you the Gold membership back but the expiration date changes to a year from that date instead of what it was. I have a friend that has the icebreakers membership and she did what I listed above. They changed her expiration date from August 2018 to December 2018. She just joined in July 2017 so I had no other frame of reference. This obviously is information that is not needed since the site just renews it anyway. I had no idea so I made this post to find out since they don't give this benefit to male members.

The option was always there for me to use or not. I never used it until last summer. I need clarification. What do you mean by the option was always there? Please elaborate. I need details. I never used it until last summer Were you a standard member or did you pay? Was there some other way you were a premium member? I need details please.

Excuse the late answer. I am a member since 2007, I remember in the first years it gave Silver Membership also. Since 2015 I do not remember the exact date anymore, I got noticed by a bling friend. I think I could have used it earlier and I do not know since when the Icebreaker exists. I remember when they first came up with the icebreakers in late 2011. It was just a Silver membership back then as you stated. I think there are other female members that don't know they have that option. Thanks for coming back and commenting.

I was taking advantage of that to check out profiles of people who had shown interest in me. Before the 2 weeks was up a pop-up suggestion about the Ice-breaker displayed. I read the rules about it and took time to write one up and received a complimentary one-year Gold membership. I just updated it today and received an addiotional year!!!
