Freezing rain and snow forecast, so spending the day indoors. Plus doing some cleaning and tidying up in preparation for a friend coming over tomorrow for a blether.

Enjoy the show.

Sounds like a great day ahead!
I love musical theatre! 🎼 Here in Toronto we have some grand, elegant, historical venues. Major productions, come here, often before they hit Broadway or are the touring companies. Have not seen Hamilton. My dream is to see a Broadway show.

Have a great time. Let me know how Hamilton is, the show is touring in my area next month and am trying to decide if it's worth the $$$.

I'd like to see 'Les Mis' on stage as it's my second favourite....after 'Oliver!'
I recently watched a great compacted version of 'House of Fun' which includes many well known songs by the band; Madness.

That's wonderful my friend I hope you both have a great time. Today my daughter and I went and got all the rest of the stuff so she can make fudge for me this week. And I got all the rest of the stuff for my cookie, and brownie baking, and of course we are still making our delicious carrot's and salsa's one of the ladies at the club yesterday said that my salsa was so good we should be selling it..

Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

I love live theater ...seen Hair around 1970, they were naked on stage! Naked with a cloud of ice vapor coming up from below and bright lights behind the cast, I was a teen and wanting to see more than I could. Arsenic and Old Lace, Jesus Christ Superstar and Sherlock Homes at the Fisher, when I lived in Detroit I would go to the Fisher Theater. Great shows. Many celebrities from TV were in these shows.
To say I am "envious" of the show you are about to see is rather mild. LOL
I hope you have a grand time...I am sure you will.
Christmas decorating and getting cards out is this weekends plan.

Never been to broadway, but I've only been in NYC once. LOL No real desire to go back.

I hope you two enjoy your day. And the weekend.

Haven’t had any occasions to see any of the professional Broadway productions but I have seen several as presented by the local colleges, these as I remember were fantastic to see the young students do their thing on stage..

As for getting all dressed up, there in is where I guess I have a problem, even to go to local restaurant and the sign says “ shoes and shirt required” that means I have to even put shoes on to get in… so to put on a suit and a tie, is just not normal for this ole redneck. I am sure you and your daughter were dressed to the limit and will have a nice time.. Enjoy, have fun..

It's been a long while since I've been to a musical... like since I was married. lol Went to see Les Miserables , and Phantom of the Opera when it came here. I was so amazed by their ability to sound so angelic live.

We had a Christmas tea with the ladies in the family...my daughter and I hosted and made all the yummies...finger sandwiches and treats. It was a busy morning, and a fun afternoon.

We used to go see the Nutcracker in Seattle...and we'd get dressed up. I don't think we've been in a long while. I might have to look into getting tickets in a few years and make it a new tradition to take the granddaughters...

That sounds like a great time. I have to admit to never attending a show. I better put it on the list. Hung out with the guys at that "Adult day care". It was a lot of useless and unproductive fun

Hope you had a wonderful time. I do love the theater but usually do not have extra money for tickets. I only saw one show on Broadway in college. But it was not a big time production. We have a nice theater here in Manchester, NH. My sister gets tickets sometimes. We usually go at least once a year to a show there.
