Hang Out
Hang Out I see a lot of profiles where the man describes how he wants to "hang out". Those words illicit many thoughts in my head. Do you want to be friends? Go out for a meal/drinks/coffee? Movies? Fishing/Hunting? Do each others hair? What specifically do you want to do when you say "hang out"? Because to me this means I could tie you up with some rope and hang you, outside maybe? I don't know, these are the thoughts that come through my head when people are vague instead of just putting the truth in their profile. YOU WANT TO FUCK! There I said it for you. Was that so difficult? |

Another irritating phrase is: Want to have fun. Gee, does that mean they often just want to find someone to have a miserable time with? Perhaps what they mean is hang out with or have fun with and maybe, probably, have sex with. Risky to assume either way. Why is the S word so hard to say or fuck, used a lot, but here rarely balledly as in "I want to Fuck." If you see me in the real world, come say "Hi Justskin." I always behave. Preferably not well.

i think it's a term used by younger generation...i hear my kids use it all the time...from what i gather, it means, just chill out and get together, and explore if they have some sort of sexual interest between them.) or once you become sexual, just means, "wanna get together and fuck?" sort of thing... either way, as an older generation, i don't quite understand the context...why don't they say more specific?

FYI, this post is about making fun of vague profiles or dare I say.....lazy people.

Hang out, for the clueless and those that don’t and have never in life had any friends to hang out with, is non-specific for getting together and just shooting the bull over a meal, cup of coffee or drinks, time permitting doing something randomly spontaneous of mutual interest and not necessarily about sex, though on this site, absent references to things a person is about or interested in doing other than sex, is more than likely a not so thinly veiled reference to a hookup. You’ve just labeled a whole lot of people immature, which will lead most to think you’re projecting, since your post seems more cynicism than a question. Have you ever considered actually asking someone what they mean?

I believe the "hang out" is for immature people of which I am not.
