Things that NEWBIES should know : Girl power and comfort level at a swing club
I had a female approach me the other night and she said that she likes coming to the club because the staff makes her feel welcome. However, she is having problems hooking up with the guys. I told her when single men come into the club (Friday nights only) they are given a tour and along with that tour is an expectation for them to be respectable and understanding that women rule the roost, and that if they wish to hook up it\'s generally the women that will make the first move. She also told me she generally fines men are more aggressive at other clubs. I said we have turned that around so now the women have girl power.**smiles on her face**
People have to understand that swing clubs are of mainly couples and not singles, so the rules are a bit different from singles bars. Our club policy makes most women and couples feel more secure and comfortable so that they won\'t be hit on right away, and they have just a chance to sit back, chill and take everything slowly or however fast they want to start swinging. We encourage all our newbies not to play at the club until they have visited us several times.This is only to make sure the newbies are mentally prepare for that special night of swinging with other couples or singles. Newbies that walk through our doors on their first night are physically ready to play... but may NOT be mentally prepared to play. Couples or singles that are not prepared at both levels are walking disasters waiting to happen. We believe mental preparedness and the art of communicating between couples is the key to a successful swinging lifestyle. Hell,we have been to clubs and have been hit on before we even had our first drink! Dee and I can handle this, however, for the newbies this would be very intimidating and they would probably never show their faces again at the door. When singles or couples are ready to play, they will play on their own terms - remember guys, it\'s all about the women,isn\'t it?
Since we have implemented the go slow policy, our single women and couples renewal and new memberships have increased dramatically - people have commented that there are lots of old and mostly new faces in the crowd. Why is that? Word has got out to the vanilla world that \ |

This is a great article to read. My husband & I have discussed visiting your club, however we have always been a little apprehensive. This article definitely puts my mind to rest  I look forward to the day we stop in for a visit & hopefully find some fun  | ||

As a single, I like the sounds of that approach. As a male, it's unfortunate that we're only allowed in on the odd occasion.  I'm offering my arm, here and now, for any lady who would like to attend but is trepidatious aboot doing so on her own. No expectations or pressure of any sort, from either person. A mutual partner to lean on and take the edge of going it alone, so to speak. Sounds like a great environment. Cheers! | ||

This covers a couple of the issues that my wife and I have about actually going and visiting a club for the first time. The idea of not getting pressured as soon as we walk in has shed some light for my wife and the advice to visit a couple of times before participating in the erotic fun makes total sense. I has changed her attitude towards the club atmosphere. When she gives the "green light" about a visit, IT will be our first contact......Thanks! | ||
