 May I ask a possibly silly question?

Is it 'rude' or against someones right to 'personal privacy' for one to ask which other members would be/could be attending an event that one is thinking of going to?

I usually plan my own events, so being guest is kinda new to me still

Yeah, That one happened at an event - an energizer bunny decided to just keep going and never came - until the lady finally got worn out and packed it in. Fun to watch, but at some point if you cant get off, perhaps give the next person some time. It isnt a contest (typically!)

Forget about family/daily life or social position, once you're in the room. (More or less everyone has secret part of his/her life) Just enjoy what everyone is gathering for.

One of the party, I was invited, there was one guy, not even got naked, asking everyone personal questions, as if he is policeman or inspector... yes, it is nice to know, but that is not important for the purpose of the party.
