I'm a very well traveled, 20 year retired vet. I've been all over the world and have experienced many cultures. I'm honest, open (almost to a fault), caring, loving and extremely affectionate. I enjoy a wide variety of music, including rock, folk, some jazz, classical, progressive rock, some country and some new age musics. I can't do or hip hop though. I enjoy doing research online and am considering writing a book on progressive rock music. I'm a Dallas Cowboys fan, being from Dallas originally. I would describe myself as an eternal optimist, who loves to laugh and spend time with good people. My family and friends would probably describe me as kind and loyal with a good sense of humor. I tend to be the kind of per people feel comfortable talking to and confiding in (I will admit, I am a talker...but I'm an excellent listener too!). I'm easy going and get along with everyone and could probably be described as the "guy next door"; (for lack of a better cliche). I try not to take life too seriously and also tend to be pretty sarcastic - and yes, I can take it as well as dish it out! I love reading, movies, classical art, as well as psychedelic art. I love roller coasters and long walks in the evening, weather permitting. I'm a work in progress, as I'm constantly learning and growing as a per. After all, there's always room for improvement. I love dogs, ferrets and fish and am real good with animals.
